On February 8, lace up your shoes and come experience La Course Nordique, a brand-new sporting event by Nomades du Parc and presented as part of Winterlude in Gatineau! Come run, smile... and celebrate winter!

Embrace Canadian culture and take part in this timed sports challenge in the heart of an enchanting winter wonderland. Winter is made for playing outside!

The courses

All courses will be groomed on the morning of the event: a relatively flat route on compact snow, running alongside Leamy Lake and the Gatineau and Ottawa Rivers.

Shuttle and parking

We strongly recommend taking the free shuttle from the Robert-Guertin Centre parking lot (accessed via Allard Street). No parking is available near the site.

Shuttle

The shuttle runs every 15 minutes, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., between the parking lot and the Nordic Race site.

Personal bag

Each participant may bring a backpack with their personal belongings and leave it at the registration tent located at the start and finish of the race.

Questions & Answers

  • The Nordic Race will start and finish at Domaine des Flocons, located in Jacques-Cartier Park in Gatineau, in the Hull sector.

    You must park for free at the Robert-Guertin Centre (access via Allard Street) and take the shuttle bus, which will drop you off directly at Domaine des Flocons.

    The shuttle is free and runs every 15 minutes, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Allow a good 5 minutes of travel time between the Robert-Guertin Centre parking lot and Domaine des Flocons.

Become a volunteer

We are looking for volunteers to help us out at La Course Nordique on February 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Tasks mainly involve greeting participants, directing them on the course, and helping at the registration tent.
